All companies in India are required to file Form AOC 4 and MGT 7.

What is Form AOC 4?

The financial statements of a company including documents must be filed with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs every year. The MCA form for filing financial statements is AOC-4

What is Form MGT 7?

All companies, whether public or private who are registered in India must file its annual return in the Form MGT-7 every year. This e-form is maintained by the Registrar of Companies via electronic mode and on the basis of the statement of correctness given by the company.

Extension of due date of filing ROC Forms for FY 2018-19

A great relief for all the Companies and CAs and CSs just after Diwali. The MCA extends the date for filing the For, AOC 4. This year the last date for filing the MCA Form AOC 4 was 30th October. However, as we informed earlier, MCA helpdesk Confirms the extension to file form AOC 4, AOC (CFS), and AOC 4 XBRL upto 30/11/2019 and for MGT 7 the due date is extended till 30/12/2019 without levy of additional fees for AOC 4.

We expected the extension of the due date to file the MCA Form AOC 4 & MGT 7

This decision has been taken by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs considering the requests from various stakeholders seeking extension of time for filing of financial statements for the financial year ended on 31/03/2019, on account of various factors like festivals and holidays during the entire week of the earlier due date and also because of the extension of the filing of Income Tax Returns along with the Audit reports for corporates and tax audit for the assesses till 31st October.

After the expiry of the respective due date, the companies will have to pay the additional 100 rs. Per day till the time they file the Form Aoc 4.
