how to convert aggriculture land in to non aggriculture land (resident purpose)

For this you will have to follow the procedure adopted by the states. It is better to contact the assistant commissioner, who has got power to convert the agrl., land in to NA land.

If you are in Karnataka the procedure is as follows:

You need to give an application in the prescribed format along with copies of documents like title deeds and tax paid receipts to the Deputy Commissioner of the District concerned through the Tahsildar of the village. You need to pay conversion fee upon grant of conversion from agricultural purposes to residential purposes.
