Please apprise us the correct reasons as to why the bank cancelled your account.

Once you have opened the bank account, the employer has nothing to do with it. If the bank cancels the account, it may be by only a reason due to inactivity of operation for a long time. If you have any balance in your account, you can claim it by giving a letter to the banker.

Request your company to pay in Cheque.

The company has anythin to do with ths dispute only if the bank accout was opened by the employer. If no, then you have to deal this dispute on your own. The comopany should only be informed about ths dispute so that the salary be deposited in another account.

KINDLY NOTE THAT EMPLOYMENT IS A CONTRACT BETWEEN EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEE.EMPLOYEE IS PAID SALARY FOR THE WORK DONE. TO TAKE YOUR SALARY BY CHEQUE OR THROUGH BANK IS YOUR DISCREATION, IT IS YOUR SALARY.IN CASE THE BANK IS NOT COOPERATING WITH YOU ,THEN IT IS YOUR DISCREATION TO CHANGE THE BANK AND INFORM THE EMPLOYER ACCORDINGLY.GOOD LUCK.

Normally nowadays, salary saving bank accounts are being opened at the joint request of the depositor-employee and the employer to the bank. Such type of accounts are previleged accounts - no frill account, no minimum balance required, concessions in service charges etc. Banks generally do not close such accounts without valid reasons. please find out the reason from the Bank. As far as opening another account with some other bank for payment of your salary, though company has no right to refuse, it will be inconvenient to your company as it prefers to credit the salaries of all the employees in one bank. There is no wrong to represent the bank through your employer to restore your old account if it is really closed without valid reasons. They will do so.
