fake documents

Sir,
In my city there is a Builder who sell a whole flats in a building to customers.
He use a fake commencement certificate of CIDCo and others document and register .
Flat purchasers fear to fir . I am a social worker and they contact me and said these thing. Can i file a case on builder ?
Please suggest.

If you have no flat there you can lodge complaint.
However if you run a NGO you can file a case in consumer forum for compensation and damages.

Consult A Local Good Advocate with all Evidences and Discuss the Possibilities of filing a PIL in high court.For which you need not be related to the Issue but with Public Interest you could File the Case.

You can ask the effected people to file FIR.

The Flat owners can lodge a complaint against him for cheating by producing the fake and fraudulent documents under the criminal proceedings. IF they wants to get compensation they can simultaneously approach the consumer forum for damages and compensation.
