My grandfather has two names but he is dead how to declare now both the names refer to the same person kindly guide me.

Where do you intend to get both the names inserted ?
What is the purpose of duplicate/changed name to be declared for your "grandfather" (since deceased)?
Consult a local prudent lawyer with relevant documents/ facts for better appreciation, guidance and proceeding, if there is some truth in the query, which is otherwise (prima facie) hypothetical.

A person having two names is uncommon. Please post the material facts relating to the issue, if any.

Thank u sir the purpose of declaration is to apply for Overseas India of India(OCI) for my grandmother as the eligibility to apply for OCI is, the spouse should an Indian origin. So in pursuance of my grandma oci application, I want to declare my grandfather�s names both refers to the same person because in his birth certificate, death certificate and in his government office id his names are different. The migration authorities told me to file a suit for declaration in a competent court and bring it. So that they can process my grandma�s application.

So my query is , it is possible to get declaration for the deceased person in the court and after it I have to apply for gazette notification
