Want to apply for divorce

Hello Everyone,
I got married around 8 months back according to muslim culture. But i came to know about my wifes affairs 2 months back. My wife left my house and started living with her parents. She is working and earning good. She is threatening me that she will file dowry and domestic violence case against me. We have not taken any dowry, instead we gave them money to perform the marriage. I do not have any proofs of her affairs. I want to file for divorce. Can you please advise me.

As you're is a Muslim Marriage, you cannot go to Family Court for divorce as its only wife who can get divorce under the Dissolution of the Muslim Marriage Act, 1939 from Family Court.
You can get divorce from your wife with the help of the local quazi who can serve upon your wife notice for divorce and proceed with the process of divorce according to Shariat law and Principal laid down by the Supreme Court in this regard for Muslim divorce.

Sir triple talaq is illegal in india. Also my wife and in-laws are blackmailing me with domestic violence and dowry case. They want to extort money from me. I am very confused. I am in lot of stress and depression. Please advise me to get out of this situation.
