Regarding fir

My friend met with an accident while traveling in my bike.police has filed an fir against my friend but unfortunately they have entered my bike registration number wrongly.It was tn47AH5290 but they wrote it as tn47AZ5290.Now I want to know how to change this? How to claim my insurance since they wrote the reg no wrongly?
And I want to know whether I had to pay compensation money to third party if was not able to claim my insurance in the court?

You please be ready with the correct Registration number of your vehicle so that the police may come any moment and and subject you to interrogation in police custody also tell/inform your insurance company to be ready with insurance money. so the police may knock on insurance company door. http://www.lawyersclubindia.com/experts/Regarding-fir-681051.aspn You and insurance company can'rt avoid liability on the pretext of wrong registration number. Appoint advocate for making necessary correction in FIR. Police will make necessary correction for the same. You may produce your bike papers for necessary correction.
