Documents given for personal loan

Hello,

Last week i have given documents for personal loan, the person saying from yes bank. I have sent soft copy documents. Now tried the same number and it shows the number is out of service. I doubt these people are fake. Can you please advice the steps to be taken.

Avoid giving any information on phone, email or through any other electronic media, most of these are fake.

Don't give copies of your docs and sign o dotted line in response to SMS,Whatsapp, emails, phone calls etc etc without checking credentials and authenticity...........

Like you anyone may apprehend misuse.....

Write to Yes Bank under proper acknowledgment and ask if the said person was with them or their DSA etc..
You are likely to get a reply.
If the Bank replies in negative……………at the most your counsel may advise to release newspaper advt declaring that your docs collected by …….should not be used by anyone for any purpose without your written consent.
In future avoid posting any document on any online portal or by emails and always transact under proper acknowledgment after verifying the credentials of the competent person.
