Written objection against domestic violence petition by wife

dear sirs,

i wish to know that whether the written objection by me/husband
should be done with affidavit or it can be done with verification by self at the end.
My lawyer is saying that there is no need to do affidavit as verification will do in that case.
My wife's petition is supported by affidavit.
if i submit written objection without affidavit would it be detrimental for me?
please suggest.

Written objection against domestic violence petition by wife will have to be met by counter Affidavit by husband.

Duly Signed Verification at the end of the Written Objection or Written Statement is good enough as it is done on affirmation/oath, no need for affixing affidavit with it.
