in this case the chargesheet has been filed and about to commit to the sessions court how does the compromise helps at this stage

As per me compromise in 304b is not possible.

Until now under the current law the accused persons who are responsible for the victims death or harassment for dowry do not stand a chance of compromise as death whether homicide or suicide within 7 years of married life under suspicious circumstances victim dies then accused her husband and her in laws would get booked. But human rights activists are pressuring the govt to amend the law and try for amicable settlement of marriage disputes by making all matrimonial offences compoundable.If such deleterious amendments are brought more dowry deaths may happen..Which again may lead to female child foeticide and infanticide.

Legally, no compromise or settlement is possible. However, a courts are allowing, or at least turns a blind eye, a sort of sham compromise where the de facto complainant, appear as the witness and repudiates the statement given to the police. This enterprise requires that the public prosecutor be kept in good humour.

what is the value of postmortem report in dowry death and what if the report is intentionally tampered to murder if it was a suicide
