Maiden surname after marriage

Hi I have not changed my surname after marriage and have retained my maiden surname.However my husband and his family thinks this may create problem for my future like after child birth as child may have to face compkications in govt organization,schools,education instituitions if the child writes different surname fir father and mother.Owing to the no of women who change their surname after marriage is more than who does not change every one is only warning me not to experiment...please suggest as i am unaware of thd future...

There is no problem. A female studies in parents house and her certificate will be in maiden surname. If that female gets government job, her name is with mainden name only in all her official recordsmarriage if she wants to change her name she may do so after registration of marriage with husband's surname.

Not obligatory to change. woman has a right not obligation to change surname after marriage.

You may retain maiden name, can add surname of your husband with your surname, or can add surname of husband simply removing your surname. No problem.
