I m working with a reputed mnc company. i observed that from last 4.5 years my pf is credited to another's company left employee. It is totally company hr dept fault as while submitting pf they put wrong pf no. I found that another pf no is appearing in my payslip. I brought into notice to hr but they told me that that is also ur another pf no but when i checked with the help of an expert it is not mine. Now pls advice me how can i get this 4.5 years amount with interest back

Lodge complaint with EPFO for not depositing your PF in your right account if HR is not ready to take step to rectify the mistake.

How could you know that your PF money is being credited in the account of an ex employee of the company?
Also, what action you have taken on your part for the last 4.5 years to get the mistake rectified?

Dear sir,
Hr was misguiding me that another no which was reflecting on my payslip is mine n bymistakely it waa generated by corporate hr. So i became little relaxed. I was following up with hr from last two years for merging into one account but everytime hr misguid me . But when i found it difficult for balance statement of new account i took help of expert and trueth came in front of me. Pls advice me where i can make complaint

So that means your PF is not being credited. Forget the charity they are making to an ex-employee.
It is an offence under PF At as well as u/s 406/409 (cognizable and non-bailable) of IPC.
You have to submit a written complaint to the RPFC. You have to make a request to be allowed to be present in the proceedings under section 7A.
They have no option but to deposit again. It may be from company or from pocket of HR Manager (if interested not to be in Jail).
Be aware that since the offnce is cognizable the action can be taken by Area SHO without intervention of EPFO, if you can establish before police (not easy but not impossible) that :-
1. money deducted from your salary.
2. employee share not deposited.
you can discuss sharply with HR Manager. If money is to be deposited by him from his pocket then it is his peril to increase the liability.

You have provided a very good answer to the academic query of the querist. He need not now study his course material. It becomes the obligation of the querist to thank you.
The question arises, had he been sleeping for the last 4.5 years.
More so, when a Unified Account Number has already been allocated to him by the EPFO credits, how his credits can appear in some other person's account without matching the name and other particulars of his account by the computer software of the EPFO. Apparently, his academic question is based on the old manual system of posting credits in to employees accounts. Even now, he is talking about balance statement in response to Mr. Jigyasu's query, when the new system of EPFO generates passbooks of employee EPF account, which have the entries duly reconciled at the EPFO field offices.
So, there was no chance of credit to some other employee's account.
It seems when in doubt about the nature of query, Mr. Jigyasu had rightly questioned him about not taking any action for the last 4.5 years. He seems to have conveniently avoided replying about his own action for the last 4.5 years, when the mistake was rteported to be done continuously for the last several years.

Thanks Sudhir Sir for ur valuable advice. I am agree with Dhingra sir that I hv not taken sufficient corrective action to find out the truth. I blindly believed on hr statement of both my account. actually I generated pf statements of my old account with the help of UAN no n found no entry from 2013. Questioned to hr but every time hr told me that both the accounts are mine. And there is manual excel sheet which hr dept is sending to pf office in which wrong pf no copied in feont of my name as per hr employee. So this mistake is happened

Instead of verbal transactions write to designated HR person, good offices of appointing authority, MD/CEO under proper acknowledgment and narrate all previous representations and attach the screenshots/scanned copies of salary slip and request to correct the error ASAP and to supply you the copies of communications sent to EPFO and reply by EPFO.
You can also write to APFC/RPFC in jurisdictional EPFO straight or thereafter.

Your (employee's contribution) is being deducted from your wages and you have represented in office. You were not siting idle.
Upon 1st representation the designated HR person was under obligation to proceed to correct the error that is not your doing.
