Compain against brother who is harassing parent

Hi expert,

I m corrently out of India. My elder brother is harassing my old parents. His wife is also envolve till come extend. My brother has assulted my parents mutliple time. May i file police compain on behalf of my parents considering that i m out of country ? If yes what is the process.

Please note my parents has already contacted to local police station but they didn't get any positive result. Police just give warning him...i this way his torture is increasing day by day. My parents are very scared nd in terrified situation. They have tried in all possible way but now they are in hopeless condition.

Send a Mail to the SP or Commissioner of your concerned place marking copy to IG of concerned state

You could also make a complaint to Senior Citizens help Line of your place which could be collected from website

Send a written complaint to the local police station house officer on behalf of your parents, requesting that a FIR be registered against the person harassing your parents. Mention all details of both side parties and various acts of harassment done during the various period. A copy of the same complaint be sent to the Commissioner Police of the district for his information and necessary action.

Sure, why not, you can make complaint. After all it is your responsibility also to take care of your parents.

Thanks expert. I don't want to make any fail attempt because it incourage more my brother. That's why i m seeking a best process online or offline. I will prefer more online or mail because i m out of India. Please let me know end to end process.

You / your parents may lodge complaint with the police and in case of no action higher police authorities and senior citizen helpline need to be contacted.
