Have your mother applied for pension? if so whether the department gave any objection in writing?

Also, for GPF, what did you and your mother do to claim the GPF money?

If the department has refused to pay, lodge complaint with the higher office.

Bad advice by a 2 years old child. Instead of following the prescribed procedure for application etc, if you lodge a complaint to higher authorities, you will have to invite more delay in settlement of your cases. You may try to follow the kid, if you like.

There are prescribed forms for the legal heirs of the deceased employee to apply for retirement benefits. Have you/mother applied. If not, submit the applications immediately. In fact, it is the obligation of the Head of Office to ensure prompt action in such cases.

@ JIGYASU - Legal analyst

Very easy to comment on others..

Should try to contribute if possible / have capacity.

Your single moto is to comment on targeted experts of the site rather to contribute.

In your various posts you have well shown your knowledge of law by commenting / taunting other experts and nothing else. It is hard and difficult to find any of your advice providing legal advice to author.

In fact your single moto is to comment and target experts of the site rather to contribute.

It seems your only motive is to force other experts say good bye to this forum.

@Rajendra K Goyal,

When you don't know even ABC about the pension rules and procedure applicable to Government employees, it is very easy for you to say "lodge complaint with the higher office." just for playing number game by you than to advise the querist appropriately how to proceed according to rules in order to get his problem solved easily.

If I am able to comment on your advice, it is only due to the fact that I know the rules and procedure about Pension & GPF. For your information, I do not give any guidance on fabricated problems, which is clearly visible from the nature of the query, which makes mention of attestation of nomination on the GPF passbook. Moreover, GPF passbooks are issued in very rare cases to a certain category of employees.

Mr. Dhingra has already asked a relevant question, but the querist has avoided reply on the issue of the category of employees to which his father belonged. Instead of category of his father, he has replied about possessing documents, which are quite irrelevant in a pension case.

MIND IT, a bad advice can never be termed as a good advice, as by your advice the querist can get his case much more complicated, when he/ his mother has not formally applied for the retirement benefits of the employee. When you give a good advice, I shall certainly appreciate that. But, I found more than 95% of your advice as vague and most irrelevant.

Further, when you have worn black glasses, how you can see contribution of anyone else, whereas I have already stated about possibility of much more delay in his case on working on your bad advice, as that can only fetch a negative reply from the department.

Had you known about the rules and procedure in Government offices, you could well have asked the querist about the status of his application, if made.

EVEN NOW, WHY NOT YOU GIVE ADVICE TO HIM, HOW THOSE DOCUMENTS IN HIS POSSESSION CAN BE LINKED TO HIS PENSION CASE?
