False statement before judge

My bro is a govt employee. A complaint filed a criminal case against him. In result he is suspended. . complainant belong to notorious family. There are 3 FIR under 15 sections already against him in PS.
Now In my bro case he has hide fact and given false statement that his father was died In heart attack in 1994. Fact is he was a sandal wood bandit and was encountered by police while doing so in 1994. It's on record. Will this fact help for my bro acquittal? Will complainant be punished for his wrong statement before judge?

His father being a bandit and having not died of heart attack has any relation with criminal complaint filed by him!

If he is habitual liar like many we see at LCI also, daily then take help of a very able senior local counsel of unshakable repute and integrity and get your brother acquitted on merits...

Police themselves registered FIR. No relation filed cr Complaint

Engage some experienced lawyer in criminal matters and oppose the charges against your brother on merit.

Such points may help cour to form opinion but totally can not decide the case in favor of your brother.
