Fire safety audit

Dear Sir / Madam,

I would like to know from which year / month Fire Safety Audits for Co-operative Housing Societies have become mandatory. Further, our society consists of Stilt + 3, Stilt + 4, Stilt + 2 and Towers. Is it mandatory for all types of Building to have Fire Safety Audit ?

Submit an application under section 6 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 to the SPIO of Fire Brigade in your state/city/town, if you really want to improve your knowledge qua month and year making audit of fire safety measures mandatory in cooperative housing societies.

Since you are aware (as stated in your question paper) about making audit of fire safety measures mandatory in cooperative housing societies it is funny to put a question mark on own your question asking, inter alia, that "is it mandatory for all types of building to have fire safety audit"?

Local law/ rules applicable. Either discuss with local lawyer or use RTI to get information from fire department.
