What are the details, what is the case about and how are you going to enter into compromise?
Whether it is a criminal case and a FIR has already been registered?
If you are coming out with details of your case, you may get proper opinions from many experts here.

To compromise or not to compromise is your personal decision. Check whether the offence registered is compoundable or not. Mention the facts of the case to guide you.
