Can the apartment charge transfer fees in case of sale of flat?

Sir,
The query is not clear, however in case of sale of an ownership flat the society can charge transfer fee as per MCS Act 2014.

Yes!In case of sale of ownership of Apartment transfer fee can be charged under MCS ACT 2014.

Sorry to respond late, it's not a co op society but a apartment where a apartment deed is signed.

So technically the apartment doesn't get involved in the transfer of flat. Still they are asking for transfer fee s. If it was a co op society then Transfer fees are charged as per the by laws but apartment by laws are not clear
,That is the query!
