It is believed that you are all Hindu.

How did the property come into the hands of Grandmother?

The property in the hands of Grandmother was self acquired or self earned or absolute or it devolve from Husbands side or parents side?

It is Paternal Grandmother ( Daadiji) or Maternal Grandmother ( Naaniji)?

Confirm!

If Grandmother was owner of some property then she was at liberty to dispose it in her life time by a valid deed say;

Sale/Gift etc and even write a valid WILL.

If she sold some property owned by her in her life time ( by a valid sale deed) then that property can be subtracted from a valid WILL ( if any), left by her.

If she has cancelled the valid WILL in her life time, that was signed by her, then the property left by her (after that was already sold by her by a valid sale deed) shall be inherited by legal heirs, as per personal succession laws applicable in her case e.g; Hindu Succession Laws.
