Non issuance of relieving letter

(Querist) 18 February 2017 This query is : Resolved
Sir,

I am an ex employee of union bank of India, last posted at Parchoor in Andhra Pradesh . I resigned from my position as an assistant manager , giving 90 days notice period after all procedure of clearance I got the resignation acceptance letter on 14/02/17 from top management . My last working day was 17/02/17 but here some problem I am facing for getting the relieving order from my branch manager as in the relieving letter he is mentioning additional coloumn stating that if in future any irregularities found in auditing regarding demonetisation I will be held responsible for that. But this additional coloumn will be a question mark on my career graph if I go for another job. Kindly help how I can approach labou court to get the unconditional relieving letter.

If there is NO irregularity then how can you be sued?

If the auditing has already been over then why such comments?

One perspective is that: Let the reliving letter be supplied and post well founded objections later.

Labour court cannot help you in any way to get that clause removed, as your future liability about any financial irregularity can not be extinguished, even if found without the process of audit, even before and after audit, and also even if they don't make any mention in your relieving letter.

It is only you, who can help yourself to convince the HR, not to make any such entry in your relieving letter.

Mr. Dooba alias, Doab (two rivers),

You made a very vague statement, such as, "If the auditing has already been over then why such comments," as in any organisation audit is not done in advance before the closure of annual accounts. More so, when the author has nowhere stated that the audit has already been over.

When you don't know even ABC of the issue, why do you indulge in to making vague posts with vague presumptions?

By the way, WHY YOU ARE KEEPING A FAKE IDENTITY, and WHY AFRAID OF POSTING YOUR REAL NAME, PHOTO AND LOCATION, EVEN ON SEVERAL REQUESTS?

Agree with PS.Dhingra Ji.

Even if the fact is not mentioned in the relieving letter, you can not escape liability.

Usha ji,

Thanks for agreeing with me.
