Read the appointment terms and condition to get placed legally.

If there is discrimination file a writ seeking directions to Pallavan and Pandyan banks to act in terms of reserved vacancies and fill them our in the Reserved list available.

Person in the reserve / waiting list may not get appointment if all selected candidates joined the service and / or circumstances to enforce them to appoint does not exist.

The appointment is based on administrative grounds, law enters if any legal provision is violated.

If only 2 out of RL were eligible as per criteria in the category, then 2 got the job.

The other 13 can agitate if they were eligible as per criteria in the category.

Dear Sivasubramanian

To be frank, the advice of Mr. Kumar Doab as, "The other 13 can agitate if they were eligible as per criteria in the category," is quite vague, irrelevant and misleading.

The question arises, how you will be able to know what is the criteria in the category and whether you are definitely eligible as per that criteria?

Even if you make any agitation, you will only be earning wrath of the management of the bank and somehow or the other they would try to make you ineligible for the post, even if there arises any need to fill up the vacancies out of the RL. They can even scrap the RL on one or the other pretext.

You should know that the reserve list is made only to meet with the future demand to fill up the posts on the eventuality of the candidates of main list declining to accept the offer of appointment, or do not join even on call, or police report is found adverse on verification of character and antecedents, or fail in medical fitness test, or resign sometime later.

So, there are several parameters for the organizations to observe before filling in the posts.

Generally, The RL remains valid till the next recruitment by the organization.

So, you should not lose heart. You will have to keep patience till some clear vacancy arises for filling up.

So, far any legal recourse is concerned, there are almost 100% chances to lose the case, as you can't claim appointment as of right.
