hello sir,
my mom gave approx 2 lacs has a hand loan to a collique i don't know clearly about the deal between two of them last year she passed away now when i asked that person to settle the amount, i don't need interest also and you can settle that in three or four times installment but she is saying i paid intrest itself above the amount i received and she abusing me if i called her and threatning me she will go to police.
i am not really aware of handloan or laws
i am simple and polite musician pls help me

Do U possess any document or a receipt of the said handloan? Orelse when the person who has lent the amount is no more it would be difficult for U to get back the money.Legally there is no remedy unless a promissory note is there.

It is not valid unless it is signed by witnesses and notarised.

Police may not intervene saying it a civil case.
You should settle the matter amicable.
If not possible, consult local lawyer.

i don't know how she will compliant, she will tell this month i will give, that month i will give i also go on that date she again say some date but last week my uncle got paralyze attack so i need money today as she said to come as usual she said next month some date, i said i understand your problem you understand my problem so give some amount as you said with angry for that only she said i will compliant to police and i am going to die with crying i got fear and came back
this is happened today
but i can't running behind this i need to stop this.
i don't know any officials or local personalities here
pls guide me

There is no legal way out in UR case.Without valid evidence courts will not come to Ur rescue

What is the date of the stamp paper?
What is the purpose for which the stamp paper has been purchased?
In whose name the stamp paper has been purchased?
All the three information will be written on the back side of the Stamp paper itself.

hello sir,
I checked that paper it doesn't contain any information on the back side.
It's a 20rs stamp paper
In the front side it has some seal and stamp paper sales shop owner seal and sign in the middle of the paper borrower name was written.
The statement was i am so and so living here. i have borrowed 50k from you until i pay the amount i will pay the interest without fail like this in typed format.
In the bottom name and address of the borrower and two 100p Revenue stamp was pasted and signed by the borrower.
Like this three documents they borrowed 1,50,000rs in different months

I wish to partially disagree with Mr RK Goyal
Police will not intervene in civil case.
but when the borrower (who is a lady) gives a complaint of stalking and harassment (instead of taking legal action), police will interevene.
