Road Accident FIR

I have file fir for my friend has got road accident. Since he has admitted in hospital, i have filed fir on behalf of him. Now what is the responsibility of my in this case? And can i remove my name from this case by fresh fir or any other way?

1. You had given the First Information and hence you may be called as a prosecution witness. You cannot now have your name deleted from the F.I.R. once it is recorded.

I Said in FIR that; " I have received a call from a friend about one of our common friend is got accident. I have go to the hospital and ask to whom who got the accident about the accident, he told me on the highway he got accident with tanker." Thats it. I am not witness as I was not on the place when accident occurs. Now what my responsibility?
