We r doing Powder Coating/Electroplating Job work. I want to know what rate of tax is applicable on taxable value of 60%.
Pl. confirm. I shell gi highly greatfull.

Why are you asking this? Are you doing this for the first time?
In any case, the answer is 5% on the value of the material.

If you are not comfortable in answering the query related to tax issues, please stay away.
I feel it highly derogatory to suggest to consult a tax consultant, after somebody has already posted a reply. You should say why the reply posted by anybody here is wrong or say why you differ. Without doing any of this simply saying consult your tax consultant, especially when some one has already posted a reply is not at all correct.
This is not the first time I requested you in this regard. If you do not change then I will be forced to say for every query whether it is tax related or not that one should consult a lawyer knowing the subject.
I request the Admin. to take note of such tendency and to take suitable measure to avoid such ugly situation.
