Change of father's name in my legal docyments

Name : Kaleem Pasha
Father's name
As per my SSLC marks card: Abdul Rehaman
Have to change it to : Mehabub Pasha

In my legal documents(Like SSLC etc..)my father's name is mentioned as ABDUL REHAMAN which is actually my maternal grandfather's name. So now I want change it to MEHABUB PASHA

Please provide me the information & procedure to change it...

when did you pass out from SSC / changes can be made only within period of 2 years or so . if you want any changes after expiry of 2 years you have to obtain court orders for said purpose

MA be filed in civil court to obtain necessary Order..contact local Lawyer

Approach the Board which issued the certificate for change, complete the formalities and get it done.

If the Board refuses, approach civil court for necessary order.

@Ajaj Sethi Sir-Completed my SSLC in 2005
@V R SHROOF Sir-I have filled a case in BELLARY court by local lawyer and case is in process from past 2.5years...

Every time case is being postponed to the next hearing date.. My lawyer has send notice to all Schools,Colleges,Boards & Universities where i completed my education..

The Reason told by lawyer is- some of them to whom notices have been sent are not responding to it,so the court is ordering to the next hearing every time..
