Registration of plot cum final documents

Hi:

I bought one plot from one ahmedabad (X) based firm in their scheme in gujarat. the plot size is sq yards.

now the Firm X is telling me that I will have to incur for the registration of the plot.

please guide

Check the stamp duty to be paid from the registration office. The stamp duty is calculated at the current market value of the property, not at the rate you bought it.

The stamp duty is calculated on the circle rate / govt rate of that area , if your purchase rate is higher / above the circle / govt rate of that area and you want to pay stamp duty for its higher side then legally you can pay for it .
