Mistake in name in property document

i purchased a residential house in co operative housing society in 1996.
there is mistake in name.
in property with two name registered husbund & wife
actual name 1) ramaben suryakantbhai patel
2) suryakantbhai pareshbhai patel

but in my sale by mistake 1)ramaben suryakantkumar kadva
2)suryakantkumar pariyo kadva
here kadva is our sub caste & patel is surname
in share certificate of society there is correct name entered
but in sale deed above mistake take place in name
so please give us advice in this regard

1. You will need is to draw out a rectification deed affidavit and have it registered. This deed will not physically rewrite the old names on the original document but such rectification done will be deemed operative from the date of reregistration of such rectification deed before the Sub-Registrar's office.

If Vendor is Not available You Could File A Declaration Suit in Court in for making the necessary corrections in the Sale Deed For which you have to submit the Sufficient Proofs for your actual names and other evidences of your wife also.After going thro the genuinity the Court would give Directions to Registrar to Execute the Corrections by accepting an Affidavit From you.A News Paper Publication regarding the same would be mandatory.The Procedures could be completed in a maximum period of 60 days.Consult Local Lawyer.
