Minor witness in sale deed

respected sir,
my grandfather has sold the immoveable property by way of saledeed.
q1. at the time of sale my father was minor and he was singned by way of thumb imperssion.now father got major and my grand father was died.
AT THIS STAGE CAN WE CHALLENGE THE DOCUMENT FOR CANCELLATION OF SALE DEED NOW THE PROPERTY WAS IN DISPUTED IN THE HON'BLE COURT. IS THE SALE DEED VALID IN THE COURT AS WITNESS WAS MINOR.

The minor within 3 years on attaining majority shall have to challenge the deed. if he fails to do this then it is too late and has become valid now.
