Selling of used car to a foreigner

Dear Sir,

I own a car which belong to tamilnadu registeration. I decided to sale my car. A foreigner approached me to buy my car. what is the procedure and precautions to sell.

You check his passport and visa expiry etc and collect the copies of the same.If he is ready to Register the Transfer in RTO Office in your presence you could go ahead.
