Hi ,

i filed an FIR agaisnt my BF on the above section for cheating me by promising marriage , forcing me to abort and now is absconding . his family is protecting him in hiding and they have been absuive towards me .

the cops filled fir against the guy and the family on the above section . the parents have applied for anticpatory bail and also applied for squashing of FIR in the high court only for them excluding the main accused . the cops are not moving faster in their investigation . the accused is still missing . the parents calims they dont know ehere he is . please advise what needs to be done

How long can he hide? cops know how to locate. Till the time he is tracked, his parents are bearer cheque book for them. If they fail to trace you can file writ mandamus in High Court.

MAY TAKE TIME, IF HE IS HIDING, BUT POLICE WILL CERTAINLY CATCH HIM.
if force to abort, also lodge comp against Dr.

Thank you for responses. How long will the squashing of fir take in high court for these 3. Will they be able to squash it by merit. Will it make my stand weak.
