Human rights commission recommendations

(Querist) 23 May 2013 This query is : Resolved
Respected Sir,

We all know the plight of Nurses. To solve this problem to some extent, the Human Rights commission has recommended a fair wage structure. But till now, the Managements of Hospitals are not implementing it citing lack of funds and other excuses. Does the recommendation of Human Rights Commission has a legal standing. Whether the Managements are bound to implement it. Similar is the case with teachers in unaided schools. The High court has ordered to pay a minimum salary of Rs 10,000/- for teachers in unaided schools. But the Managements are not implementing it. Is this contempt of court. Can the Government force the management to abide by the order of High court.

if high court has passed an order directiing unaided schools to pay rs 10000 as minmum salary then schools are bound to follow HC order . it would be contempt of court if they fail to follow the orders

In Haryana 1500 schools have been closed on defying the similar type of orders of different courts so managements are required to be forced by the force of law and courts.
