Sbi contempt the orders of banking ombudsman and not paid compensation.

(Querist) 13 January 2013 This query is : Resolved 
State Bank of India kept my money in (Amount Rs.5000/-) in his unauthorized possession from 18/04/2012 to 25/08/2012 i.e 129 days. I several times written to SBI and finally lodge complaint to Banking Ombudsman, Kanpur vide complaint No.201213011000191 on Dt.12/07/2012. Banking Ombudsman found my complaint genuine. So he decide the matter in my favour vide letter No. KAN-BOS/25.20.000191/12-13 DT.17/08/2012. Banking Ombudsman ordered to SBI to pay compensation .But SBI contempt the orders of Banking Ombudsman and not paid compensation.

Move an appropriate application before the Ombudsman again and send one complaint to RBI head office as well.

Compensation shall also be paid with interest by the erring officials once you again approach ombudsman.
