Sir,

I am working for a public sector undertaking (PSU)my query is that ITO (TDS)is threatening us for attaching our corporation without any strong reason.

PSU (BSNL) can be attached by IT Department or not? What is the procedure for attachment.

From the limited info. given in your query, it is understood that the PSU concerned have either defaulted in discharging its obligation in respect of deposit of TDS collected/ collectible as provisions of law or in filing of periodic TDS return in time resulting in attraction of penal demand.
In such an event , You have to take assistance of an experienced local Income tax practitioner to advise on the course of action available to you in the facts and circumstances of the case.

In the light of limited facts submitted by you, it can safely be opined that ITO cannot threaten the corporation as has been mentioned by you without strong reasons.
