Non payment of rent

suit was filed 1yr back for eviction on grounds of non payment of rentwhen rent for 10monshs was in arrears. now in all rent for22 months has become due. tenant neither filed w/s nor appeared on any of the dates.my request for rent payment is not being considered.his defence was struck case was fixed for exparte he appeared and got set aside exparte proceedings. on subsequent date he again did not come. court again fixed case forexparte proceedings.how long case can go like this.

It depends upon you and your counsel how much time to digest the efforts of the tenant to disturb your line of action. If you are committed towards your case, resist every efforts of tenant to linger on the ongoing proceeding and if court do not assist you, file revision/appeal as the case may be against all illegal orders.

obtain certified copy of roznama . on next date draw attention of court to dilatory tactics adopted by defendant . court will take strcit action and refuse further adjournments .
