Dear Members,
My petition to SIC have been received in its office and case numbered. Will I be getting intimation on the date of hearing or I will have to keep enquiring /writing to SIC for the date?

You shall duly be issued with intimation to appear on the day of hearing by SIC.

Dear Mr. Raj Kumar,
Thanks I went through some decision and orders of the State Information Commission. The case is closed on the first hearing itself with directions to PIOs or the petitioner .Even fines to the tune of Rs 25,000 fixed for delay in giving info. The PIOs are personally asked to appear and lawyers are barred. The decisions of SIC appears more powerful than Court Directive Judgment on Writ Petition. If I had known the above many of my problems would have been solved on one sitting of SIC.

you will get the notice of hearing by the SIC. However, if there is undue delay, it is better for you to keep in touch with the commission to know the status of your case.
