Mhada flat allotment

(Querist) 06 March 2012 This query is : Resolved
I had applied for MHADA lottery and was declared successful and asked to submit documents. (in 2005) MHADA pointed (saying ineligible) at non-submission of two documents i.e. undertaking on 100 Rs. Stamp paper and copy of Domicile certificate which were later submitted to MHADA before due date. But after that there is no communication from them. I had visited MHADA office many times taking leave from job but in vain. They did not bother to reply to my letters or not informed me of any status of my application. It seems the contact details of mine were known to few people / agent who contacted me and asked me to give away my right for this.

Can you please guide me further course of action in this matter?

i dont understand what were you doing for 7 years . if MHADA had declared you ineligible and you submitted documents later you ought to have moved court immediatedly .

even if you move court now can you explain the 7 years delay ?

the chances of getting any releif are remote . you were fully aware of terms and condions for allotment since you failed to produce the same in time you were declared ineligible .

apply when MHADA invites fresh applications for allotment . may be you will win a lottery

Dear Santosh

Do u have any acknowledgement from your side ? or receipt from post office if it is registerd ad

If agent got to know your contact details then it means ur alloted the premises

MHADA is infested with Corruption so it is advisable to write the letter to the MHADA Legal Dept and also to its chairman mark C.C to CM Office, Ministry of Housing (state) State in the letter that confirmation of allotment was not given attach ur Application copy alongwith it and mention in the letter about the negligence caused by MHADA officials also the hardships caused to u in these regards

Experience says that they will act but it is important if u have preserved all the correspondence, applications, receipts if any payment made .... with u

Dear Sir, Thanks for responding so promptly.

I had acted quickly on receiving letter from MHADA and submitted the documents. Then I visited MHADA office personally several times, I met the Director-Marketing, Dy.Director-Marketing, Secretary of CEO, tried to meet CEO, in fact able to met once the Dy.CEO. All the staff and authorities gave me reply saying come later, the file is with this dept.- that dept. I wrote few letters as well. One query in RTI also. no reply. It was my fault that I should have moved to court in time or should have followed up more aggressively which I could not do as I was employed in private service and could not take out enough time and waited patiently for MHADA to reply. But does this take away my right? MHADA does not have any responsibility to reply me status of my case or to respond to me? I was not properly guided. believe me I had visited MHADA office minimum 15-20 times for this.

You can file application before RTI.
