Renewal of rental agreement

Hello Sir,

I am having a flat at navi mumbai. Have given the flat on rent for 11 months which will complete on this March. We have got proper agreement done along with police verification. Now we need to renew the agreement for another 11 months.... No my questions are:

1. Do we have to make another rental agreement ?

2. Do we have to take police verification again?

if verification have done thn no need to do it again but u should get a fresh agreement.......

ANSWER: Yes but to go safe make an agreement
for leave and licence and register that also.

2. Do we have to take police verification again?
ANSWER: NOT FOR SAME PARTIES.

You have to make another agrrement and there is no need of police verification with same party agrrement.

It shall be safer for you to have a separate leave and license duly executed and registered without mentioning the past residence of such tenant. No requirement of police verification arises at this juncture.
