Hi,

I am planning to open single pool, single table tennis & Carrom club with certain amount of monthly members only for school & college students. Property that i am looking to start business is situated in chawl system (pagdi system houses). its a residential area.

My exact query is what kind of license i will have to apply and is there any legal formalities related to opening of clubs in residential area.

This club strictly will be for school & college students with certain amount of admission & monthly fee.

first you have to obatin your landlord consent . since it is pagdi system chawl it is only for residential purposes for your immediate family .

if you carry out club activites without consent of landlord it can be ground fo eviction .

after obtaining landlord consent apply to muncipal corportaion for starting club activites .

Consent is no issue b'coz landlord is my uncle. I want to know exact legal procedure activity. do i need to obtain consent letters from chawl members also. how do I get agent for obtaining license.

Chawl members may be having objection on frequent visit of students and nuissance and noice factor caused by their frequent visits. Police intervention may also be frequent due to their complaints. So, better take the chawl members also in to confidence and have the their written consent.
