ONE MEMBER HAS EXPIRED.HIS NOMINEE I.E WIFE USED TO GET PENSION.HISS SON WAS ALSO CO NOMINEE BUT NOW ABOVE 25 YEARS OF AGE.THE 1ST. NIMINEE EXPIRED.NOW WHAT WILL BE THE FATE OF EPS?WHO CAN GET IT???

After the death of wife, the pension would stop if the son is adult.

After the death of wife the pension will be stopped if the son is above 18 years old

Rajeev! Second life time awward is applicable up to the age of 24 years and not up to 18 years as you replied.

If second nominee is unable to maintain himself or he is physically or mentally sick then he can apply for pension under EPS and under special circumstances, such pension may be continued otherwise chapter of pension shall remain closed.

yes., the pension should be stopped., if there is any benefits is pending mean the son can claim it as a legal heir.,
