Owner of the property

(Querist) 20 September 2011 This query is : Resolved
If a tenant is staying at a particular house for more than 25 years, will he be deemed to be the owner of that house?
R.Ramachandran (Expert) 20 September 2011
A tenant will always be a tenant. A tenant can never become a owner of the premises simply on the ground that he was a tenant in the premises for 25 years or even 250 years.
