Even if you have purchased those ornaments but the same are now her stridhan and hence she is its owner.

As I understand from definition of Stridhan is those gifts which wife gets during marriage by anybody...
In my case, ornaments that I purchased after the marriage may not be consider as gift for wife...I may have purchased ornaments keeping dual purpose of investment as well..
Based on this, I think that ornaments that I purchased after the marriage should not be wife ownership..
Can you throw more light on this...

No.It is not so. When ornaments are bought for the use of the wife,it becomes her own. It will not be taken as an investment even in fact it is done with that intention. Doctrine of advancement comes into play. Read Sec.88 of the Indian Trusts Act which would make things clear.
