rent of pvt property for commercial purpose

iwould like to give my pvt appartment as guest house for company. Is it legal? i am ready to pay commerical tax for this.or do i have to fill any form? The property is under BHOPAL MUNCIPAL

no. it is not legal. for letting the apartment for guest house purpose, you would have obtain noc from the development authority after performing certain formalities. better you contact the office of the development authority and fulfill all the formalities before letting it.

Yes necessary permission of the Local Authority is needed.

I don't think any permission is required since it is not going to be used as a lodge or other place for commercial purpose. It is like any other ordinary lease to any individual. The only difference is that the tenant in this case is a company and not an individual. There is no illegality involved in it.
