(Querist) 27 August 2010 This query is : Resolved
Experts Let me know now a days...
If photographs taken on digital camera are accepted as legal document or not?

According to my old knowledge only film camera photo with negative use to be legal document. Digital camera photo was not used as legal photo.

Which is the exact method of documentation
by camera?

I think now a days the movie on digital camera is used as evidence in many cases.
Thanking you.

Photograph taken by digital camera is very much admissible in evidence if it is proved in accordance with the provisions of the evidence act.

You are right. In olden days the photos,if they are produced along with negatives only, would be received in evidence by the courts. Now the photos taken in digital cameras are entertained in evidence. There is no bar.
