When to file rejoinder ?

Guest (Querist) 14 August 2010 This query is : Resolved
I filed a petition to get eviction under section 14 D delhi Rent Act,the tenant filed application for leave to defend, now I am to file rejoinder, next date of argument is 28/08.

At what point of time the rejoinder be filed ?

I do not want to give my opponent too much time and also I do not want that he should succeed in taking a date by saying that rejoinder is flied too late and ample is not given for preparation of argumentation.

Plz. give Ur precious suggestions.

So you file it in the next hearing itself so that there is no procrastination.Or else you file your rejoinder with an application to advance the hearing earlier from 28.8.2010/

You can file it on the next date. You will have to file an application seeking permission to file the rejoinder. Opponent will take time to file his objections to rejoinder application.
