Power of Attorney for investing on behalf of client

(Querist) 21 October 2010 This query is : Resolved
Hi,

I am starting a financial services company which will help clients to buy/ sell investment products - like Mutual Funds,Shares, Commodities, Insurance, Bonds etc.

I want that once the client is registerd with us, they dont need to fill forms for each investment type and IF We can fill the form and sign on their behalf.

The client will just send a mail to us confirming buy / sell (for our records) and then we will fill forms & sign(on behalf of client)

In such case, what kind of Power of Attorney is required. If possible can you send me some good format. (clickmail99(at)gmail(dot)com

Should we need to register this POA in court and should we need to send the copy of POA everytime to MF / Insurance companies with every request.

Thanks for help and guidance.

Such POA would not require any registration.

Your clients can execute General Power of Attorneys in your favour. Although such power of attorney is not compulsorily registrable yet it is better to get the power of attorney registered.

Not necessary to register.
If you want get it attested by a Notary
