Tata consultancy ltd is making covid vaccination mandatory.

(Querist) 05 July 2021 This query is : Resolved
Good Morning,
I am working with TATA Consultancy Services Ltd. and the company is forcing us to take COVID vaccination, either at their centre or anywhere else. They want all associates to be vaccinated. They have given us a deadline to get the 1st dose done by 15 July 2021 failing which we need to submit our RT-PCR test report once every week and submit it to HR, which is non-reimbursable.
I am afraid of this vaccination and thus have got my antibody test done where my body contains more than sufficient antibodies.
Please advise is it legally correct to force employees to either get a vaccination or submit weekly RT PCR reports?

What is the test you have done? What is the basis for your assertion that your body contains sufficient antibodies and you can do without vaccination?
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 07 July 2021
Why are you reluctant to get vaccinated, which is for your (personal) benefit ?
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 14 July 2021
This policy of getting their employees vaccinated is an unwritten rule or law and the employees are not expected to defy the instructions.
If the company insists on vaccination or an alternative arrangement, you cannot agitate the decision of the company. The company has issued this instruction on the larger interest of its employees. The company cannot take risk on the health of other employees because of few reluctant employees.
If you are taking a legal recourse on this at the time this pandemic crisis, your case may not be justified and you may be liable to be condemned by court of law for not cooperating with the company and the government due to your such hostile attitude.
