Mismatch in plot number found after sell the property

Dear concern
I would request you to please help me to resolve the below query .
My actual plot number is 618A / 1 since 1992 and also as per electricity bill , municipal property tax bill it's also same since 30 years and take loan with same in all records but in 2010 around I have sold out property with all cleared docs to buyer ,no issue happen in legal docs ,but we got call from buyer after 10 years now to rectify the plot number due to he want to sell this property and bank has done some verification and found mismatch it's actually A 2 instead of A 1.. and we are ready to do this rectification . But I want to understand is this now our responsibility? Also what is easy way to clear this . We have all proof for old plot number and if it's showing different in record then why municipality , electricity's authority has not rectified in their record since 30 years ..
Also want to understand is their is legal case will happen for me ??? Because that guy doing mentally harassment with my family because he don't want to bear the cost for rectification..

There is no material error in the document except EB Number.The buyer could get it rectified at office.

But this buyer is keep harrasing with stating I will file police complain for this .. Please advice for this error is there any low that buyer can take action to me ?? Because all procedure I have done with all docs legal way . Please advice should I have to appoint lowyer ??

I think, you bought the property in the year 1992 and sold it in the year 2010. During this period the Survey numbers might have been re-surveyed by the Revenue officials and due to that, a small difference may be changed. So first obtain whether the S.No.618A/1 is resurveyed or not from VRO/Panchayat Secretary/Revenue Officials and if they do not respond, use RTI. It is the responsibility of the seller/his legal heirs to execute the rectification deed if requires. so after obtaining the information regarding SNo, and if is really resurveyed/changed you can execute a rectification deed clearly mentioning the resurvey by revenue officials. Then there is no problem.

Who is the owner of S.N. 618 / A /1 ?
Whether boundaries are properly mentioned in the sale deed?
How this mistake happened?
You were owner of 618 /A/1 and sold the same, should discuss in detail with local lawyer.
If he is threatening, tell him that you have sold him, what you owned, after showing all documents. Normally police does not intervene in such cases.
