Sanction u/s 188 of cr.p.c

Dear all experts,

In case of IPC 498A ,if partly offence committed out of India.Is it necessary for prosecution to get sanction u/s 188 of cr.p.c for trial from Central govt.? If didn't taken and trail is on stage of further statement of Accused, whether defense can raise issue of non sanction at the end? plz give some authorities of S.C.

Defense can always raise legal objection. The sanction is not necessary in the given case as the offence has partly been committed within India.
