Section 142(b) in the NI act 1881 Such Complaint is made with in one month of the date on which cause of action arises.Under Clause (C) to the Provision of Sec 138 (24)Provided that the Cognizance of a Complaint may be taken by the Court after the Prescribed Period if the Complainant satisfies the Court that he had sufficient Cause for not making Complaint with in Such Period.Please discuss and confirm with your Advocate.
