Trade license

Dear Sir

Plz suggest / advise as to for what category of commercial establishment Trade License is mandatory.
Whether one has to take trade license for office premises also where there is no physical sale display of goods but only a admin office.

Plz clarify..

For running an administrative office no trade license is required.

Although, it is mere admin office, you have to take trade license as it is coming under your Main establishment/Corporate Office. Because it's branches can be anywhere and came across clients/customers and running business activities of your Co.in the said office premises.

Dear Mr Prakash,
Trade license is required only when you are utilising any portion for commercial use directly and earning revenue from the same. In that case you are required to apply before the Municipal Corporation within your locality and get a trade license if required.
Now admin office if it is earning revenue, then in that case you are required to apply for a trade license.
